Ken Head, a cancer survivor from Britain, begins his routine with a 45-minute workout session followed by a 5 to 10km run and 400 to 600 push-ups

In a world where the fast pace of modern life leaves little time for self-care, maintaining fitness has become a challenge for many. While most of the younger generations live without daily exercise or proper diet, this 92-year-old grandfather is proving to be an inspiration. Ken Head, a resident of Spike Island in Bristol, Britain and a former engineer for Concorde, is making headlines worldwide due to his remarkable fitness at his age.

Ken is highly dedicated to his health, with running and weightlifting being some of his favourite exercises. He begins his daily routine with a 45-minute workout session. Despite having undergone a surgery for skin cancer, his strong willpower enables him to live life to the fullest. He runs 5 to 10 km daily and does 400 to 600 push-ups. His fitness level and humility puts the youth to shame.

Proper Diet & Exercise

Ken has a simple principle about life — to accept it as it is and move forward. He says that every morning, he starts his day with stretching and then push-ups, followed by a 5 to 10 km run. He goes for boxing and trekking occasionally.

Apart from this, he pays special attention to his diet as his morning diet includes soaked wheat, oats and chia seeds. He mentioned that a bowl of milk with a sliced ​​banana, some figs, raisins and nuts is his favourite meal of the day.

Survived Cancer

Ken is also a cancer survivor. A year-and-a-half ago, he met with an accident on an e-bike, which caused severe bleeding in his leg. After undergoing several tests, he found out that cancer was developing in that area. However, he fought the disease, and is now back on track. Though he was unable to run for a long time, he has since returned to his favourite activity.

Ken even participates in triathlons, which includes swimming, cycling and running. Rather than seeing it as a challenge, he enjoys the competition.
