AAJ KA PANCHANG, AUGUST 26, 2024: The Ashtami and Navami Tithi of Krishna Paksha will fall on August 26, according to Drik Panchang. The auspicious occasion of Krishna Janmashtami is on this day. Devotees who observe the Janmashtami fast should eat only one meal the day before as per traditions. Before starting any rituals, it is essential to check the tithi, along with the auspicious and inauspicious timings. This information can provide guidance and help you avoid potential issues throughout the day.

SUNRISE, SUNSET, MOONRISE, AND MOONSET ON AUGUST 26

Sunrise is predicted to occur around 5:56 AM, while sunset is expected at approximately 6:49 PM. The moon is expected to rise at around 11:20 PM and is expected to set near 12:58 AM.

TITHI, NAKSHATRA, AND RASHI DETAILS FOR AUGUST 26

The Ashtami Tithi will be in effect until 2:19 AM and then the Navami tithi will start. The Krittika Nakshatra will stay in effect till 3:55 PM on August 26 and then the Rohini Nakshatra will take its place.The moon will be in the Vrishabha Rashi and the sun will be located in the Simha Rashi.

SHUBH MUHURAT FOR AUGUST 26

On August 26, auspicious mahurats include Brahma Muhurta from 4:27 AM to 5:12 AM. The favourable Abhijit Muhurat will last from 11:57 PM To 12:48 PM. Additionally, Nishita Muhurta will occur from 12:01 AM to 12:45 AM on August 27, while Amrit Kalam will be observed between 1:36 AM and 3:09 PM.

ASHUBH MUHURAT FOR AUGUST 26

The inauspicious timings for the day are as follows: Rahu Kalam Muhurat is projected from 7:33 AM to 9:09 AM, Yamaganda Muhurat from 10:46 AM to 12:23 PM and Gulikai Kalam Muhurat from 1:59 AM to 3:36 PM. Additionally, the Banna Muhurat occurs in Mrityu from 5:08 AM on August 27 and extends for the entire night.
